Piling carries structural load past weak or compressible ground to a stratum that can take it. Bored cast in-situ piles suit most Indian sites; driven piles are faster where the ground allows and vibration is acceptable.
Every pile programme is closed out with integrity testing and, on a proportion of piles, static or dynamic load testing against the design capacity.
