Deep Tubewells

Drilling, installation and development of deep tubewells for water supply and dewatering.

Truck-mounted rotary rigs drill to 500 m at diameters from four to twelve inches, with DTH and O-DEX assemblies used where the formation collapses behind the bit.

Wells are cased, screened, gravel packed and then developed until the discharge runs clear, with a step-drawdown yield test recorded before handover.

Deep tubewells have been drilled, installed and developed to 600 m. Completed work includes wells in the Beet area of Punjab, where the water table sits 75 to 165 m below surface, and installations across Himachal Pradesh and other states.
